Inadequate access to health care is a large problem throughout Mahagi Territory, especially in remote villages. Also affecting health and wellbeing is the inability to pay for the transport costs or service fees required to access existing health care facilities. Redefined Ministries has a number of programs and projects addressing this need in our area. These include the construction of a health clinic in rural Jalasiga Village, set to open in April. The ministry also works to distribute eye glasses, birthing kits, and menstrual kits, provided by our various partner organisations. In addition, we have been involved in health promotion and providing information on good nutrition.
