We are pleased to share that a new eye glasses distribution is currently taking place throughout Mahagi Territory thanks to the continued support of Eyes on Africa.

So far eighty-five eye glasses have been given out during three rural distributions, with more distributions scheduled in coming weeks.

At the distributions centres we are challenged with other eye related cases, such as trachoma, that can be diagnosed but that we currently do not have the provisions to treat. We are trusting to be able to give these patients more assistance in upcoming clinics once resources allow.

This distribution we have also been able to provide sun glasses to help prevent sun-related eye damage.
